Scoreboard Saturday in the Books!

It’s the end of Scoreboard Saturday, the road to championship Sunday has been an exciting one and what better way to end the day than some crucial matchups in tournaments’ final round-robin games. A few divisions came down to the wire as teams final games were battled out to determine the playoff matches.  Fans in attendance were treated to some entertaining hockey as the wait for the sound of the final buzzer ended and final point tallies determined who was moving on.

 

There were several closely contested games throughout the day, with some of the most exciting games played late as the teams try to stamp their name into the quarter finals.

 

Playoff teams are back at it bright and early tomorrow morning beginning with the Atom C division Semi-Finals on the HEO and Recharge with Milk Arena at 8:00 am. With nothing but playoff action taking place tomorrow at the Richcraft Sensplex, it is sure to be an exciting road to the finish. Come out and see who will rise to top!

To all the teams heading home, the entire staff at the Richcraft Sensplex would like to thank you for your participation at this year’s 6th Annual Kickin' Ice in the Capital Competitive Tournament.  It was an absolute pleasure to have hosted some phenomenal young hockey players and their proud and loud supporters!
